Ever since Power Star Pawan Kalyan announced financial donations to the State and Central Governments to fight the Corona pandemic situation, it inspired almost all the Telugu superstars and most of them came forward with their respective financial contributions. We saw actors like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Prabhas, Jr NTR, donating from their pockets for the central and state Governments. The latest to join this list is actor Allu Arjun, who has announced a donation of Rs 1.25 crores to the Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala.

It is a known fact that Allu Arjun has a phenomenal fan base in Kerala, among the Malayalees and as a reflection for their love, the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo star has announced this generous donation. Arjun, in his video statement said, “Namaste. This is Allu Arjun. The Covid-19 virus has taken the world by storm and changed our everyday lives. But, even in times like this, people like doctors, nurses, military, police men, and many other sectors have done great contributions to our society. Drawing inspirations from them, I would also like to do my small part.

With all humility, I would like to announce Rs 1.25 crores to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala. We very well know the only way to fight this pandemic, is by washing our hands regularly and practising isolation. I am very very positive.
