A Rainy Day in New York is a romantic comedy film starring some exciting names like Timothee Chalamet, Elle Fanning, Selena Gomez, Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber. The film was written and directed by Woody Allen and produced by Letty Aronson and Erika Aronson under the banner of Gravier Productions and Perdido Productions. The cinematography is handled by Vittorio Storaro and editing is done by Alisa Lepselter. The film follows the romantic exploits of a young college student whos is on a weekend trip in his hometown of New York City, trying to further bond with his college girlfriend while she is in the city to interview a famous film director.

The film was completed in 2018, but its distributor Amazon Studios halted the release of the film following controversy regarding Allen and the Me Too movement. The film was released in a few countries last year and is yet to release in multiple European, South American, and Asian countries.
