The hype is real for Suriya’s NGK directed by ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan produced under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner and is gearing up for a thunderous release on May 31.

Being presented by Reliance Entertainment, NGK is an action political drama and also stars Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads followed by Telugu star Jagapati Babu as the antagonist and Bala Singh, Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vela Ramamoorthy in major supporting roles with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Meanwhile, Dream Warrior Pictures has now officially announced that NGK has cleared the censor test with a 'U'certificate and is now the second Selvaraghavan film to receive the said certification after his Irandam Ulagam back in 2013. This result is quite surprising considering a majority of the acclaimed filmmaker's films have gotten either an 'A' or a 'U/A' certificate.

Expectations for NGK are massive considering the film’s electrifying trailer and teaser released a while back along with Yuvan Shankar Raja’s chartbuster songs went on to receive a tremendous response. Fans are awaiting a cracker of a treat when the film hits theatres worldwide in less than 10 days with many expecting an outstanding showing from both Selvaraghavan and Suriya.
