Celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is once again reuniting with the box office money-spinner duo Dhanush and Selvaraghavan in Naane Varuven, which is currently in its post-production stages. The film marks the get-together of the two-time National Award-winning actor and the ace filmmaker after nearly a decade since their Mayakkam Enna and is being bankrolled under blockbuster producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu's V Creations banner. That being said, Yuvan had recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Galatta to talk about 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan for which he has composed music along with his father and legendary composer 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraja.

During the interview, Yuvan was queried about Naane Varuven and the hit music director revealed that all works are being carried out for its release soon. Upon being asked about Dhanush possibly singing or writing lyrics for a song in the film, the Valimai composer revealed that he will be contributing on the vocal front for one track while also informing us that it is yet to be recorded. This latest update from Yuvan about Naane Varuven has no doubt come as big joyous news for fans considering the last time such an instance occurred was in the Selvaraghavan-directed film, Nenjam Marappathillai, which had Dhanush singing the 'Maalai Varum Vennila' song. Expectations have been high for the trio to come up with yet another memorable album on the lines of their previous ventures like Thulluvadho Illamai, Kaadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Yaaradi Nee Mohini. It should also be noted that the last time Dhanush had sung for Yuvan was the global chart-buster 'Rowdy Baby' song in Maari 2 and fans are now looking forward to yet another track that will break the internet.

Apart from directing Naane Varuven, Selvaraghavan will also be appearing alongside Dhanush for the first time ever, which as well has created massive curiosity among fans. The film also stars Meyaadha Maan and Bigil fame Indhuja Ravichandran as the heroine, with popular European actress Elli AvrRam cast for a vital part, followed by veteran actor Prabhu and comedian Yogi Babu appearing in supporting roles.
