Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Nerkonda Paarvai director, H Vinoth celebrated his birthday yesterday (September 5) and wishes poured in from all quarters for the promising filmmaker. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja took to his Twitter space this evening to share his birthday wishes to Vinoth. The ace composer tweeted, “Happy birthday #Hvinoth God bless you. Wishing you all the success and happiness. #Valimai”. It is a known fact that Yuvan and Vinoth are working together in Ajith’s next outing, Valimai which has got humongous expectations among the fans. Yuvan is one of the favourite composers for Ajith fans as he has given a lot of chartbuster numbers and powerful BGMs to cherish, through films like Dheena, Billa, Mankatha and more.
Below Yuvan's tweet (about H Vinoth), one of the fans requested him to get an update from the makers of Valimai. Interestingly, Yuvan acknowledged that tweet and replied, "It'll come soon....". This short reply was enough for the fans to get excited and they are now looking forward to the update. However, since there is no clarity regarding the resuming of shoot, one is not sure if there will be a Valimai update in the near future.
Produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP, Valimai is an action adventure drama that will feature Ajith as a cop. Kaala fame Huma Qureshi plays the female lead, while Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa form the supporting cast. The makers are yet to officially announce the antagonist of the film. Vinoth has already directed a successful cop film, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru which received good reviews and hence the film buffs are eager to see what the talented director has in store, this time. Valimai has cinematography by Nirav Shah.
The film has been planned to be shot mostly in foreign locations and we can expect it to be a stylishly made action thriller. Valimai will have a lot of intense action sequences and bike chase sequences and it is sure to set the screens on fire. The film’s shooting is currently stalled due to the pandemic and the team’s next plan of action is yet to be known. Considering the fact that Valimai is being made on a grand scale with a high budget, it wouldn’t be practically possible to maintain social distancing in the set. So, it looks like the makers will wait for the situation to get back to normalcy. Check out Yuvan Shankar Raja’s tweet regarding Valimai here:
