Panni Kutty is produced by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions in association with Sameer Bharat Ram's Super Talkies and Tribal Arts. The latest development on Panni Kutty is that the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the film has been acquired by Dr Prabhu Thilaak's 11:11 Productions. Apart from Tamil Nadu, 11:11 Productions has also snapped the Karnataka and Kerala theatrical distribution rights as well. Karunakaran plays the other lead in Panni Kutty and it is going to be interesting to see him and Yogi Babu perform in a content-driven movie. Panni Kutty is directed by Anucharan Murugaiyan who is known for directing the Kathir starrer Kirumi. The film has music scored by K, while the cinematography and editing are handled by Sathish Murugan and Anucharan respectively.
The film's screenplay is penned by Anucharan and Ravi Murukaya, while Fire Karthik has handled the stunt choreography. NR Sukumaran is the art director. Yogi Babu, as a supporting actor, has several exciting projects and the list includes Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, Thala Ajith's Valimai, Veeramae Vaagai Soodum, Adangathey, Kadaisi Vivasayi, Ayalaan, Pistha, Takkar, Kasethan Kadavulada, and more.
