The film which talked about cricket, friendship, and love, turned out to be a big hit at the box office and it took the trade experts by surprise. The film featured a bunch of youngsters as the leads and it gave the breakthrough for actors like Mirchi Shiva, Jai, Nithin Sathya, Aravind Akash, Vijayalakshmi, and others.
