Leading Tamil actor-producer Vishal has been keeping himself busy with a number of his projects, including the pre-release works of Enemy which has been announced to hit theatres in November. Among the upcoming films in his lineup, Veerame Vaagai Soodum, touted to be an out-and-out raw action entertainer, has now entered the post-production stages. Initially tentatively titled Vishal 31, the dubbing works have now been completed on Veerame Vaagai Soodum, which has been directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan and produced under the Vishal Film Factory banner.
Announced for a release in December, Veerame Vaagai Soodum with the tagline 'Not A Common Man' will feature music by chart-buster composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and the team has been consistently releasing shooting spot videos of Vishal taking part in intense action scenes. The upcoming film has Vishal and Yuvan collaborating once again after they previously worked in films like Sandakozhi, Thimiru, Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai, Avan Ivan and Irumbu Thirai to name a notable few. Veerame Vaagai Soodum's plot will revolve around one individual's fight against injustices by those holding power, with the shooting done in locations in and around Chennai and Hyderabad.
Veerame Vaagai Soodum has Vishal paired opposite Dimple Hayati, who earlier made her Tamil cinema debut in the Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah-starrer Devi 2, with the supporting cast featuring names like Yogi Babu, Marimuthu, Tulasi, Kavitha Bharathi, RNR Manohar, Baburaj, Billy Murali, Raveena Ravi, K. S. G. Venkatesh, Mariyam George, Black Sheep Deepti among others. The film also includes a talented technical team on board among whom are Bala Subramaniem handling cinematography, N.B.Srikanth taking care of the editing, followed by S.S. Murthi for the art direction and Vasuki Bhaskar as the costume designer.
