Actor Vishal had two releases in 2019 - Ayogya and Action - with both ventures turning out to be average grossers at the box office. The star has since been busy filming back-to-back on his upcoming projects, Thupparivaalan 2 with Mysskin and Chakra under debutant MS Anandan's direction.
Among the two ongoing ventures, Vishal's Chakra being produced by the actor himself under his Vishal Film Factory banner, has now entered its final leg of production with the team currently shooting the film in and around locations across Chennai. Vishal Film Factory has released working stills with the star on their Twitter page, which can be seen below:

Being planned for a theatrical release this year itself, Chakra will see Vishal as an Indian Army officer once again after the smash hit, Irumbu Thirai, while this time sharing screen space opposite actresses Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra and the film's music being composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This is the tenth occasion Vishal and Yuvan are collaborating on a film and is one of the biggest USPs of the film, which has cinematography by Balasubramaniem and stunt choreography Anl Arasu.
