Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli's RRR is doing wonders at the box office and is steadily inching towards the 1000 crore club. The film which released on March 25 in theatres across the globe opened to positive reception from the critics and the general audience. The visual grandeur of the film along with some brilliantly staged sequences has managed to strike a chord with the public and the film is doing great business at the box office. RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles and has Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and others in supporting roles.
Jr NTR and Ram Charan looked great together and their exceptional equation kept the fans engrossed throughout the film. The coming together of Jr NTR and Ram Charan for the first time turned out to be the USP of RRR and all eyes are now on its sequel. Though the makers have not planned any sequel to RRR as it is a standalone film, the fans have been wanting to know if there would be any developments in the future. The answer to that question is now known. In a recent interview, veteran writer and Rajamouli's father, Vijayendra Prasad has revealed that he has got a few ideas that have got the potential for a possible sequel to RRR, adding that everyone in the team liked it.
Talking about it, he was quoted as saying, "Some ideas popped up, as I started exploring the possible sequel. Everybody liked it too. If God is willing, it may happen sometime later". Well, interesting right?. Let us keep our fingers crossed and wait for further developments to unfold. Meanwhile, Rajamouli's next directorial venture will be with Mahesh Babu and it is expected to be an action-packed entertainer. More details on the project are awaited.
