Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's Tughlaq Durbar is gearing up for its release in September and the film is expected to have a direct television premiere, followed by an OTT release. However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited. The film features Raashi Khanna as the female lead, marking her second outing with Vijay Sethupathi after Sangathamizhan. Ahead of the film's release, the makers have now released the video of the song, 'Kaami Kaami' and this is a peppy romantic track that is picturized in a colourful fashion. The highlight of this track is its lyrics that is penned by Madhan Karky. All the words that are used in this song starts with the Tamil letter, à® (Ka) and the talented lyricist needs to be acknowledged for his wonderful wordplay.
Govind Vasantha who mesmerized one and all with his soulful music in the Vijay Sethupathi - Trisha starrer 96, has composed an interesting track through 'Kaami Kaami' which is sweet and fun-filled. Govind Vasantha and Swasthika Swaminathan have lent their voices for the song. The visuals keep you in smiles throughout, thanks to the impressive screen presence of Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna. The video song has opened to a positive response from the fans. Tughlaq Durbar is directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenaadayalan, a former associate of Balaji Tharaneetharan.
Produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of 7 Screen Studio, the film features R Parthiban in a pivotal character. The scenes featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Parthiban are touted to be the major highlight of Tughlaq Durbar. Manjima Mohan and Karunakaran will be seen playing supporting characters. If reports are to be believed, Tughlaq Durbar will have a direct television premiere on Sun TV for Vinayakar Chathurthi after which it will stream on Netflix platform.
