'Thalapathy' Vijay's upcoming film, Master, announced to come out in theatres worldwide in April, has wrapped up a major chunk of filming under director Lokesh Kanagaraj after production kicked off last year in October. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for a 'Thalapathy' film for the second time after he churned out chart-buster tunes in the 2014 blockbuster, Kaththi.
That said, a huge subject of discussion among fans for a while now has been as to who the lyricist for Master is considering no specific name has been mentioned till date. It is already known that two songs under choreographers Dinesh and Sathish have also been shot with one of the film's dialogue writers, Rathna Kumar, the director of Meyaadha Maan and Aadai fame, taking to his Twitter page to ask if indeed there is a lyricist on board Master. Check out Rathna Kumar's funny tweet below where he is seen using a popular dialogue from the 'Superstar' Rajinikanth and Vadivelu starrer, Chandramukhi:
Lyric writer irukaara illaiya.? Nambalaama Namba Koodaatha? ðð¤«. #Master https://t.co/wJCndiJure pic.twitter.com/xT2GTo0wmn

Being produced by Xavier Britto under the XB Film Creators banner, Master is touted to be an action thriller and also includes 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, whose look hasn't yet been revealed despite two official posters featuring Vijay getting released. The film also has Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead followed by Kaithi villain Arjun Das, 96 actress Gouri G. Kishan among a host of notable names to form the supporting cast.
