A few days back, it was widely speculated that Vijay Deverakonda would be joining hands with director Mohana Krishna Indraganti for a new film, under the production of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. However, the news was neither confirmed nor denied by the makers and it was constantly doing rounds on social media. After a gap of a few days, Vijay Deverakonda has now indeed confirmed his project with the Sammohanam director through his latest tweet. The Dear Comrade actor celebrated his birthday two days back, on May 9, and wishes poured in from all the quarters.

On that note, director Mohana Krishna also wished him in a tweet that read, “Wishing you a very Happy Birthday @TheDeverakonda! May this year be the best one yet. Looking forward to all the amazing things you do! :)” . To this tweet, Vijay Deverakonda replied, “I know one amazing thing WE are going to do together”, thereby hinting on their collaboration. This tweet was enough to confirm that the duo are going to team up for an interesting project, which will take quite some time to take off.

Vijay Deverakonda is currently committed with Fighter, his next action thriller, directed by Puri Jagannadh. After completing this film, Vijay will be working with director Shiva Nirvana of Ninnu Kori and Majili fame for a new film. Similarly, Mohana Krishna is eagerly awaiting the release of his next directorial, V, which happens to be Nani’s 25th film.
