Viduthalai Part: 1 is one of the most talked-about movies that hit the theatres last week. It marks the next release of the National Award-winning director Vetri Maaran, years after the release of Asuran in 2019. The film has actor Soori as the lead and Vijay Sethupathi in important film as Vaathiyar. The movie has music composed by Maestro Ilayaraja and is produced by Eldred Kumar under the banner RS Infotainment. The movie also has Bhavani Sre, Chetan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rahjib Menon, Ilavarasy, Munnar Ramesh and Saravana Subbiah in supporting roles.
Two days after the release of the film the makers have now shared the making video of the opening sequence of Viduthalai Part: 1. It was one of the most talked about and praised sequences in the film as the long shot does not have any cuts. The making video shows the construction of the bridge and tracks. It shows cranes lifting and placing the compartments of the trains, with short glimpses of how it’s shown on screen. The two minutes long making video shows the cameraman on rope-gliding capturing a shot, Makeup being done showing those injured, Vetri Maaran explaining how he wants the scene to be shot to his technicians and ends with how they filmed the compartment falling from the bridge.
The making shows the realness that is present in Vetri Maaran's filmmaking without the use of any VFX. It also shows a glimpse into what went on behind the scenes in making the opening train sequence, the tragedy and trauma look real. The makers had revealed a making video of Viduthalai Part: 1 earlier showing a glipse of how they shot the whole film in three minutes. As the film is running successfully in theatres, the making video will surely increase excitement and draw more people to theatres. Watch the full video here:
