Rocky is an upcoming Tamil action drama that stars Taramani fame Vasanth Ravi and veteran director Bharathiraja in the lead roles. Popular dubbing artist turned actor Raveena Ravi and Rohini will be seen in pivotal characters. The film is directed by debutant Arun Matheswaran who has already shown immense promise with the already released teasers and promos from the film. Right from the beginning, the makers of Rocky have been making it clear that the film is going to be very unusual and different from the mainstream cinema and the treatment looked quite intriguing and raw. The makers have been releasing promo videos and teasers on a regular basis and on that note, a new teaser has been released.

This teaser is called ‘Rocky - Naatuku Pogalaam’ and it focuses on Rohini’s character. From what we see, it looks like Rohini plays the role of Vasanth Ravi’s mother and through a voice over, we hear that she left her native place for some undisclosed reason. Later, we see Vasanth Ravi going to a place and knocking on a house door, which could probably be the place where Rohini spent her childhood. The teaser looks interesting and sets a different mood. Rocky will be released by Lady Superstar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan who have acquired the distribution rights of the film. The couple will release the film under their banner of Rowdy Pictures.

Music director Anirudh Ravichander released this new teaser through his official Twitter page and wished the entire team for a grand success. Sharing the teaser, Anirudh wrote, “#Rocky-Naatuku Pogalaam This movie is sure to be a super experience! Produced by CR Manoj Kumar under the banner of RA Studios, this intense film has music scored by ENPT sensation Darbuka Siva.

The film has cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna and his work is surely going to be one of the most talking points of the film. From what we have seen so far in the already released teasers and the newer one, Rocky seems to be a visually appealing film and Shreyaas' work is going to be widely recognized. Nagooran has edited the film while Ramu Thangaraj has taken care of the art direction. The stunts play a very crucial role in the film and it has been treated in a very raw manner - due credits to stunt choreographer, Dinesh Subbarayan. Check out the teaser here:
