Leading Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who got married in January earlier this year, has been shooting for his horror-comedy film, Bhediya, in Arunachal Pradesh. However, the Coolie No. 1 hero and members of the crew of the upcoming film were in for a major surprise when they were mobbed by fans, who wanted to catch a glimpse of the star. In that light, paparazzis and fans have been posting videos of Varun climbing atop his car at the shooting spot location, who is seen appealing to them to allow him resume shooting for Bhediya.
In the video, we see Varun being surrounded by fans, with the actor heard telling them, "Thode time ke liye humlog hai idhar. Bohot time ke liye hai. Toh hopefully, shooting jab khatam hota hai toh main aap sab se mil paunga (We will be here for quite some time. Hopefully, once the shooting ends, I will be able to meet you all)." Towards the end of the video, Varun makes a request to the fans to maintain peace at the shooting location and allow the Bhediya team to resume shooting. The video will come as a reminder for Tamil cinema fans on the lines of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's mass moment during the Master shooting at Neyveli when the superstar climbed atop a bus, which went on to be one of the most talked-about events in 2019-2020.
Bhediya will be the third collaboration for Varun Dhawan with actress Kriti Sanon after the two were seen in 2015 rom-com Dilwale and Kalank in 2019. Not much is known about Bhediya as yet, but an announcement teaser was released three weeks back, with the promo showing the silhouette of a man turning into a werewolf, giving fans the hint that the film will include plenty of supernatural and fantasy elements. Being directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Bhediya has a screenplay written by Award-winning writer, Niren Bhatt, who is also known for penning scripts of films like Bala, Made In China, Wrong Side Raju to name a few.
