Thala Ajith’s Valimai is being made as one of the biggest Indian films on a high budget and it has got huge expectations among the fans. Produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP, Valimai is directed by H Vinoth and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film will feature Kaala fame Huma Qureshi as the female lead. Ajith will play the role of a cop in this action drama. The film’s shooting has been stalled right now due to the pandemic situation worldwide and the future shooting plans are not yet planned.
Meanwhile, a section of media had reported that the makers would resume shooting as soon as the lockdown gets uplifted since there are a lot of high octane action and chase sequences left to be filmed. However, when we checked with sources close to Ajith’s side, it was clarified that there is no truth to the news. According to the sources, the makers of Valimai are in no hurry to resume the production as the safety of the cast and crew is the first priority for the team and they would never want to risk it.
The team will plan on what to shoot and when to shoot only when everyone in the country are declared safe from Coronavirus. Valimai was initially supposed to hit the screens for this year’s Diwali, but we can now be sure that it won’t be possible because of the change in shooting plans due to the Corona pandemic.
