A film that is eagerly being awaited by Ajith Kumar fans everywhere, Valimai, directed by H. Vinoth under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner will see the superstar in the role of a police officer once again after his Yennai Arindhaal in 2015. As a few portions remain to be shot overseas, major production on the upcoming mass action venture has already been completed, with the film being in the spotlight for a long time as there had been no promotional material released so far. However, that has all changed now as the makers have finally released the much-awaited Valimai motion poster to the music of celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja along with the announcement that the film will indeed be out in theatres as a 2021 release.
'Thala' Ajith fans have waited a long time for the Valimai motion poster to drop and their patience has finally paid off as the makers have unveiled the actor in his new prime mass avatar. The latest look of Ajith from Valimai kicks off the first major promotion for the film for which Yuvan Shankar Raja has from time to time been keeping fans updated, while also sharing details on the first single track sometime back stating that it will be a mass number for which he had roped in festival drummers from Odisha. Valimai is a massive film for Ajith and his fans, considering the COVID-19 pandemic played a major spoilsport in the completion of the project which was initially announced for a release last year.
Valimai is incidentally the second consecutive film for Ajith with H. Vinoth, Boney Kapoor and Yuvan after they collaborated for the 2019 box office blockbuster hit, Nerkonda Paarvai. Apart from Ajith, Valimai's star cast includes names like Karthikeya who is speculated to be playing the antagonist, with Kaala fame Huma Qureshi as the female lead, followed by Yogi Babu, Saranya Ravichandran and several others in pivotal roles.
