National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh's next Malayalam film, Vaashi, has her sharing screen space with actor Tovino Thomas and the duo are playing advocates. Billed to be an intense courtroom drama, the upcoming film directed by debutant Vishnu G. Raghav had its first look released on Saturday and gives us a glimpse of both stars in their lawyer avatars. Vaashi is the next big Malayalam venture for Keerthy, who has carved a huge name for herself in South India, after she last appeared in the Mohanlal-starrer Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
Unveiling the Vaashi first look poster, Keerthy wrote, "Presenting the first look of my next in Malayalam! #Vaashi I am so excited for you all to see what we have made and cannot wait for all of you to watch it!" Not much has been revealed from the first look of the film, which has been produced by Keerthy's father Suresh Kumar and co-produced by her mother Menaka Suresh, and sister Revathy Suresh. Vaashi has generated a lot of excitement, especially after the team wrapped up the entire production last year in a span of two months. The film has music composed by Kailas Menon, cinematography handled by Neil D Cunha, editing by Arjun Benn, and the story is written by Janiz Chacko Simon. Keerthy Suresh will be looking to strike big with Vaashi after she was last seen in 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Annaatthe and Mohanlal's Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, while Tovino Thomas will want to continue the momentum after he hit the bullseye with his Minnal Murali, which garnered rave reviews from critics and fans alike. As for their upcoming projects, Keerthy has in her lineup Telugu films like Sarkaru Vaari Paata opposite Mahesh Babu and Bhola Shankar alongside 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi in which they play siblings, including Saani Kaayidham in Tamil with Selvaraghavan under Rocky fame Arun Matheswaran's direction.
