Maamannan is the next big film that has Udhayanidhi Stalin and 'Vagai Puyal' Vadivelu in the lead roles. The film directed by Mari Selvaraj was released in theatres on 29th June yesterday. After the release of the film, the director, the lead actor and actress Keerthy Suresh addressed the press and media. While speaking to the press, Udhayanidhi Stalin confirmed that this will be his last film as an actor. When a media person asked if he is satisfied that this is the last film for him as an actor, He replied "I am satisfied, there is no chance”. This confirms that Maamannan will be the last film of the actor.

Maamannan has a huge star cast that included Udhayanidhi Stalin, 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu, Fahad Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Lal in important roles. The film also has music composed by A.R. Rahman and directed by trial-blazing filmmaker Mari Selvaraj.
