Walt Disney Studios on Thursday dropped a new trailer for their long-awaited film, Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Emily Blunt, while also making the announcement that it will hit theatres in the US on July 30 and can be ordered on Disney+ with Premier Access along with an additional fee. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the fantasy adventure film's trailer packs in quite a punch from start to finish and is clear in its motives of keeping the viewers informed on how the story will unfold. Based on the Disneyland theme park ride of the same name, the Jungle Cruise trailer has Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt playing Frank and Lily, who travel into the untraveled regions of the Amazon jungle in the quest to find the Tree of Life.
In the Jungle Cruise trailer, we see Dwayne Johnson's Frank as a street-smart riverboat captain, who is hired by Lily, a scientist in search of a tree with magical healing powers, which will help change the future of medicine. Their journey on Frank's boat, La Quila, and the impending dangers from some others for devious purposes and the perils the duo encounter in deep ends of the Amazon jungle as shown in the trailer is fodder for plenty of action-packed adventure.
