Adipurush is the next Pan-India film of actor Prabhas that is set to release in theatres on June 16. The film is helmed by director Om Raut that is mounted on a huge budget that’s estimated to be over Rs.500 crores. The mythological film is based on the epic tale of Ramayana which is shot with motion capture technology that has multiple VFX shots. The film is set to release in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada. The producer Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts has now made a special announcement about the release of the film. The producer of the controversial The Kashmir Files has announced that over 10,000 tickets for the film across Telangana will be given to Government Schools, orphanages and Old Age Homes for free. He has shared the announcement with a statement saying “Every chapter of Lord Shri Ram is a lesson to mankind and this generation needs to learn about him and follow his divine footsteps.”
This new announcement has become viral on social media and the producer Abhishek Agarwal has also attached a link to Google forms for registration ad that has informed that Adipurush tickets will be sent to them. This initiative has received a mixed response from the public as some have praised the producer of the initiative but some have said that donating profits would do more good to the orphanages.
The second trailer of the film Adipurush was released recently, by the cast and crew in Tirupati. The trailer showed a glimpse of massive war sequences. Recently, it was stated that a seat will be left vacant in the theatres screening the movie for Lord Hanuman, as it's believed that wherever Lord Ram is he would follow. The film by Om Raut also has Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and others in important roles.
