Raghava Lawrence will be acting in a new film titled Adhigaaram which is currently in the pre-production stages. The film was officially announced with a special motion poster, a few days before and the project created a good amount of anticipation among the film buffs. The highlight aspect of Adhigaaram is the presence of acclaimed filmmaker, Vetri Maaran. The Asuran director has penned the story and screenplay for Adhigaaram and the fans are expecting the film to be an interesting watch. Adhigaaram will be directed by Durai Senthilkumar who has earlier made movies like Ethir Neechal, Kakki Sattai, Kodi, and Pattas.

The film will be produced by S Kathiresan under the banner of Five Star Creations LLP in association with Vetri Maaran's Grass Root Film Company. The latest exciting update on Adhigaaram is that the film will have music composed by the young musical sensation, Thaman S. After the massive success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Thaman has become one of the most sought after composers in the Telugu and Tamil industries and his music will definitely be an asset for Adhigaaram. The official announcement regarding Thaman's addition to the team of Adhigaaram was made, this morning (July 15).

The shooting of Adhigaaram is expected to begin in the next few weeks and details regarding the female lead and the rest of the cast are awaited. Adhigaaram is touted to be a story that will deal with the topic of immigration. Raghava Lawrence is currently acting in Rudhran which is produced by S Kathiresan. The film which features Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Producer Kathiresan will be making his debut as a director with Rudhran which is said to be an action entertainer.
