'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo being produced under S. S. Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner wrapped up filming in July and post-production works are currently progressing at a steady pace. The upcoming film marks the second occasion Vijay has collaborated with director Lokesh Kanagaraj and composer 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander after their blockbuster Master (2021) and expectations are high for them to recreate the same magic once again and take it up a notch. For a while now, there has been quite a lot of debate regarding the Leo audio launch and where it will be held, with cities like Madurai and Trichy in Tamil Nadu widely being discussed on social media as possible locations for the event. Although there's been no official announcement as yet, popular Tamil film producer and distributor G. Dhananjeyan has now shared his thoughts about what the team of the upcoming Vijay-starrer is planning and what the strategy will be.
Asserting that the Leo audio launch will be held in Tamil Nadu, producer Dhananjeyan states, "Vijay sir's thoughts will be about meeting 50,000 or more fans at the event. This will be a part of the strategy. They will discuss it. We have to keep moving forward and up ahead. Whatever we speak, it has to benefit in one way or another. The audio launch cannot be held as time pass. So, when such an event is being planned, he has to put in an effort, everything has to go according to those plans, and he will have to give a speech. If he's putting in so much effort, it has to benefit him. And, if such benefits must come true, the event must be held in Tamil Nadu. This isn't only for the film as it will benefit him as well. And, if such an event is held in big cities like Madurai or Trichy, more than a lakh people will turn up when 50,000 people are called. So, imagine how big it will be for Vijay sir to speak in front of those one lakh people, and how it will go viral. And, beyond that, how much celebration will there be when he speaks in front of them?"
Dhananjeyan added, "Fans will be excited to see him and some will also say that there are only two more years left before the assembly elections. And, if he gives a hint about the parliament elections, that'll give them an idea. So, as far as I know, there is a possibility that the audio launch will be held in Tamil Nadu, but not in Chennai since such a big crowd cannot be brought together at the same place. From a strategic viewpoint, places like Madurai and Trichy are places that have played a big role in political changes. It is my belief that the audio launch will be held in one of these two cities. We'll have to wait and see."
