In that light, blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, who is the director of Vijay's next, the tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, took to X after watching Leo FDFS today and shared his review in short-form by posting the film's release poster along with four fire emojis in his caption.
With Venkat Prabhu's post about Leo already getting a big response from fans, Thalapathy 68 creative producer Archana Kalpathi too joined in on the excitement urging the filmmaker that they need to start with something similar for their upcoming venture. Shortly after, the Maanaadu director gave an affirmative response writing, "Absolutely" along with a thumbs-up emoji. This latest friendly banter about Leo by the Thalapathy 68 team has left fans excited about what to look forward to next, with many conveying their best wishes for their journey up ahead.
Thalapathy 68 was revealed to be a "high-octane action film" sometime back and is scheduled for a grand theatrical release in 2024. Filming on the exciting project began on October 2, with Venkat Prabhu revealing that it is going to be a "fun roller coaster ride" for fans in cinemas next year. The Thalapathy 68 pooja photos and videos are expected to be released soon in the days ahead now that Leo is out in theatres, and fans will no doubt be waiting with bated breath for a glimpse of Vijay kicking off the proceedings. The upcoming film will also include music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is a reunion for the hit composer with Vijay after their Pudhiya Geethai (2003).
