Blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Venkat Prabhu celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, November 7 in Thailand along with the cast and crew of his upcoming film, Thalapathy 68. The hit director has been showered with wishes from all quarters over the past couple of days, with the team of the highly-anticipated 'Thalapathy' Vijay-starrer also releasing a special tribute video as part of the celebrations. In that light, Venkat Prabhu on Thursday, November 9, took to Instagram to extend his gratitude to his fans, while informing them that his special "gift" (Thalapathy 68) for them is getting ready.
Posting a picture of his back turned to the camera, Venkat Prabhu, who is seen sporting a Hard Rock Cafe blazer with the text Pattaya, went on to say that his birthday this year during the filming of Thalapathy 68 was a day to remember and will always be memorable. He wrote, "Thank q to one and all for your lovely bday wishes!! Really sorry for not replying to each one of u! Really really touched by your love! My gift back to you guys is getting ready!!! ðð¤ this was an unforgettable bday indeed!! And you all know whyð thanks once again!! God is kind!! #thalapathy68" (sic)
There are massive expectations from Venkat Prabhu to deliver yet another theatrical entertainer with Thalapathy 68 along the lines of his previous blockbusters like the Chennai 600028 films, Mankatha and Maanaadu, to name a notable few. The filmmaker has roped in a massive star cast to share the screen with Vijay in Thalapathy 68 this time among whom include Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Laila, Sneha, Yogi Babu, Ajmal Amir, VTV Ganesh, Premgi Amaren, Vaibhav, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raaj in key roles. Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who played a pivotal role in Vijay Antony's Kolai, is playing the female lead in the much-awaited Vijay film, which is scheduled for a grand 2024 release and will also include hit music director Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the songs and the background score.
