'Thalapathy' Vijay is fresh off the stellar box office success of his latest film, Varisu, which recently crossed 250 crores in worldwide collections and the actor's fans now have more reasons to celebrate. The Tamil superstar's next big film, the tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, was officially announced on Monday, and production has been underway since January 2. Being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj under S S Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, several big names are said to be a part of Thalapathy 67, with the team on Tuesday, January 31, also revealing actress Priya Anand to be playing a key role in the upcoming film, which will have its next schedule shot in Kashmir.
Priya Anand's casting in Vijay's Thalapathy 67 has been doing the rounds since December last year after a formal pooja for the film was held in Chennai. The actress too shared her excitement at being a part of the prestigious project and said about the film, "Thrilled to be a part of Thalapathy 67!
