Thala Ajith's Valimai is currently the talk of the town, thanks to the phenomenal success of the first single, 'Naanga Vera Maari'. Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and crooned by Anurag Kulkarni, 'Naanga Vera Maari' has turned out to be a big hit among the masses. The fans are now eagerly looking forward to witnessing the video song which is going to be a delight. Ajith's charismatic screen presence and dance moves are surely going to set the screens on fire. Meanwhile, the makers have now released the official high quality pictures from the 'Naanga Vera Maari' song and these pictures have been doing rounds on social media since this evening.

Ajith looks dapper and super stylish in these pictures and we are sure that the fans will be delighted with this release. Produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects LLP, Valimai is directed by H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame. The film features Kaala fame Huma Qureshi as the female lead, while popular Telugu actor Karthikeya will be playing the key antagonist and notably, Valimai will mark his debut in Tamil cinema. Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Cook with Comali fame Pugazh play supporting roles in this film that is shot by cinematographer Nirav Shah.

The other prominent members in the technical team of Valimai include Vijay Velukutty (editing), Dhilip Subbarayan (stunt), K Kadhir (art direction), and Anu Vardhan (costumes). The shooting of Valimai is almost complete and the team is just left with one brief schedule which will happen abroad. The post production works are also happening in full swing simultaneously. Valimai is confirmed to have a theatrical release and if reports are to be believed, the film will release on a festive occasion.
