Earlier today (August 23), Twitter India made a super breaking announcement revealing the top 10 most used hashtags on Twitter in the first half of 2021. Thala Ajith's Valimai has topped the list, becoming the No. 1 most used hashtag in India in the first half of 2021 - Jan 1 to June 30. This statistical report directly coming from Twitter India has made the Ajith fans delighted and they are celebrating this feat on social media. Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster hit, Master has got the second place, while Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata has bagged the third position. Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy 65 have taken the fourth and fifth positions respectively. Fans of Tamil cinema and Telugu cinema have completely dominated the Twitter space in the first half of 2021 and this report indeed shows us the proof.
The top 10 most used hashtags of 2021 (first half) in India are as follows:
1. #Valimai
2. #Master
3. #SarkaruVaariPaata
4. #AjithKumar
5. #Thalapathy65
6. #IHeartAwards
7. #RubinaDilaik
8. #BTS
9. #Covid19
10. #VakeelSaab
It is interesting to see that there are two hashtags each representing both Vijay and Ajith. While Valimai and Ajith Kumar belong to Ajith, Master and Thalapathy 65 belong to Vijay. We will have to wait until this year to complete to know if there will be any changes in this list. There are high probabilities of Vijay's Beast to find a place in the year-end list and let us keep our fingers crossed until then.
On the other hand, Thala Ajith's Valimai is one of the most expected films of this year and considering the humongous hype surrounding the film, one can expect Valimai to take the box office by storm. Valimai is directed by H Vinoth and has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film is expected to have a festive release in theatres across the country.
