A film that has been carrying massive expectations right from the moment it was announced back in 2019, Ajith Kumar's Valimai directed by H. Vinoth under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner and featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja had a special glimpse video released on Thursday. The glimpses of Valimai featuring Ajith as a police officer is action-packed from start to end and gives us the first visuals the team has cooked up ahead of the film's Pongal 2022 theatrical release. With the Valimai glimpse video receiving stellar feedback already and many fans celebrating 'Thala' in his new out-and-out action avatar, we also get an official confirmation on the character name of Ajith in the film, which has been revealed to be Arjun.
Coming back to the one minute and twenty six second Valimai glimpse video, we are teased with several big action beats and moments and shows Ajith racing ahead in his motorbike, which has left many elated. The upcoming mass action entertainer will most likely be revolving around the subject of bike racing monopoly and shows Telugu actor Karthikeya as a techie villain. Valimai is the second consecutive collaboration for Ajith, H. Vinoth, Boney Kapoor and Yuvan Shankar Raja after their 2019 blockbuster Nerkonda Paarvai. Apart from Ajith and Karthikeya, the film also has Huma S. Qureshi as the female lead, followed by Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh among others, with cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Vijay Velukutty, art director K. Kadhir, stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan and costume designer Anu Vardhan forming the core technical team.
