Veteran Tamil director, SP Muthuraman has tested positive for Covid 19 Corona Virus and has been hospitalized on account of the same. According to a statement from the Medway Hospitals, Chennai (where he has been admitted), SP Muthuraman is suspected to have Covid pneumonia. He is currently said to be stable and the doctors are examining his health condition on a regular basis. The official statement from Medway Hospitals read, "Press Release: Mr S.P. Muthuraman, renowned film director in the Kollywood industry has been admitted to Medway Hospitals with symptoms and signs of Covid 19. He is suspected to have Covid Pneumonia. He is under the observation of the medical team at Medway Hospitals. He is stable at present. Issued by: Medway Hospitals Management".

The fans and well wishers of SP Muthuraman are praying for the speedy recovery of the legendary filmmaker and we hope he returns to normalcy very soon.

SP Muthuraman is a reputed filmmaker in Tamil cinema who has several blockbuster films to his credit. He is widely known for his frequent collaborations with Superstar Rajinikanth.
