Hit Tamil cinematographer B. Rajasekar's father passed away on Sunday. The loss of his beloved dad has come as a big shock for the popular film technician, who took to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude, especially to leading Tamil actor Arun Vijay, for standing by his side and comforting him till the end of the funeral proceedings. In an emotional statement, Rajasekar wrote on Twitter, "Thanking u Tons of Tons sirðUr presence of my father last funeral rites till Endðððâ¦begin human love loadsð@arunvijayno1". Arun Vijay sympathized with the cinematographer and said, "I was there as a part of ur family!! My Prayers to give you'll the strength to come out of such a big loss..ðMay your dad's soul rest in peace... Will always be there for you sir... God bless..."

B. Rajasekar has worked in a number of notable films across South Indian languages and has made a name for himself in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Among the Tamil films he has garnered appreciation over the years include Dhaam Dhoom and Thillalangadi, which had Jayam Ravi in the lead role. Rajasekar's work has been extensively in Telugu cinema and has shined with his cinematography skills in films like Arya 2 with Allu Arjun, Ram Charan's Orange, followed by ventures like Mr. Nookayya, Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?, Andhhagadu and Raju Gadu to name a notable few. Rajasekar's upcoming work in Tamil includes the Bigg Boss fame Rio Raj and Remya Nambeesan-starrer Plan Panni Pannanum, which is coming out in theatres on September 24. The hit films cinematographer also has in his lineup Borrder, which features Arun Vijay in the lead role and has been announced for a theatrical release on November 19.
