One of the most anticipated movies of this year is Megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is scheduled to hit the screens on October 2nd. A pre-release event for this movie is currently happening in Hyderabad but there seems to be some issue against the movie's release as the descendants of the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, on whose life this movie is based on, have presented objections against this movie. About 23 descendants and family members of the freedom fighter have lodged legal complaints against Chiranjeevi, director Surendhar Reddy and producer Ram Charan.

Some reports state that the fifth generation family members of the freedom fighter are miffed with Ram Charan for not keeping a promise he had given them. Allegedly, Ram Charan is said to have met these family members last year and promised to pay them Rs. 50 Crores for sharing some intricate details about the legendary freedom fighter to help with the movie. The family members are now stating that they were not paid and also that a few members from Ram Charan's office even threatened them with dire consequences if they continued troubling them.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has an ensemble cast including Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Kichcha Sudeep,Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Jagapathi Babu and quite a few others. Pawan Kalyan has also lent his voice for this movie. Let's just hope this controversy gets cleared soon and doesn't impede the movie's release.
