For the past 24 hours, if there is one that everybody across the country is discussing is about the sudden demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. In yet another shock for the India film fraternity, Sushant allegedly committed suicide on Sunday (June 14). He was just 34 and was found hanging at his Bandra apartment, Mumbai. The actor, who has done films like MS Dhoni, Kai Po Che, Chhichhore, Kedarnath to name a few started his career as a television actor. He was the youngest of five siblings and is now survived by his father and four sisters.
Sushant Singh Rajput's body was taken to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital where the post-mortem was performed between 10:30 pm to 11:30 pm yesterday night. He was also tested negative for COVID-19. Sushant was suffering from depression from the last six months. He was even taking consultation from a doctor in Hinduja hospital, Mumbai. But what made him take such a big decision is still a question mark. Even his close friends and families are not aware of his struggles. The police found no suicide note which makes things even more complicated. Sushant Singh Rajput's brother-in-law O.P. Singh, who works in Police Department as AGDP has apparently suspected some foul play. He is seeking a thorough probe into the incident.
Even one of Sushant’s uncle claims his death to be a murder and not suicide - “We don’t think he committed suicide, police must investigate the matter. There seems to be a conspiracy behind his death. He has been murdered.” said maternal uncle of Sushant Singh Rajput, outside Sushant's residence in Patna yesterday to ANI. Even Jan Adhikar Party Chief Pappu Yadav said the same while talking to the media from Patna - “Sushant Singh Rajput has been murdered, he cannot commit suicide. I demand CBI enquiry into the matter.”
