Blockbuster Tamil director N. Lingusamy is currently working on the tentatively titled RaPo 19, with leading Telugu actor Ram Pothineni. Lingusamy, who has delivered box office hits in Tamil like Aanandham, Run, Sandakozhi, Paiyaa, Vettai to name a few, is making his Telugu cinema debut with RaPo 19, which incidentally is his next big venture after the 2018 film, Sandakozhi 2, with Vishal, Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. With production on RaPo 19, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, progressing at a brisk pace, Lingusamy on Saturday dropped the announcement that popular actor Chirag Jani has joined the cast of the upcoming Ram Pothineni film.
Taking to Twitter, Lingusamy extended his birthday wishes to Chirag Jani while informing followers that he is now on board RaPo 19. The hit Tamil director tweeted, "Wishing you a very happy birthday @JaniChiragjani & a great year starting with #RAPO19." The upcoming Ram Pothineni bilingual is incidentally the next big film for Chirag, who played a huge role in Suriya's Kaappaan and impressed fans, who are now sending across their wishes to the actor. Lingusamy RaPo 19 is being produced under Srinivasaa Chitturi's Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner and will see Ram Pothineni romancing youth sensation Krithi Shetty, who became a heart-throb among the masses in South India after her debut in the Telugu film, Uppena. Featuring music by chart-buster composer Devi Sri Prasad, RaPo 19's star cast also includes Nadhiya and Aadhi Pinisetty in pivotal roles.
