National Award-winning Tamil actor Suriya and his wife Jyotika recently joined leading action choreographer 'Supreme' Sundar and his family in taking time off from the shooting of the film, Kanguva, in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. Having won appreciation for his work in the fight sequences in Ajith Kumar's blockbuster Thunivu earlier this year, the popular stunt master shared a photo on social media on Wednesday and thanked Suriya and Jyotika for their warm welcome. Tagging the Jai Bhim actor on Twitter, 'Supreme' Sundar wrote, "#Family time in #Kodaikanal between the shoot of #Kanguva. My heartfelt gratitude to #Suriya Sir and #Jyothika Madam for the warm welcome. It was truly a memorable and joyous occasion!â¤ï¸". Check out 'Supreme' Sundar's tweet below:
'Supreme' Sundar's latest picture of Suriya shows the actor has out on a little weight, which could presumably be for his role in Kanguva. The film's team will depict the Soorarai Pottru actor in several periodic portions considering the story is said to be set in the 18th century, as stated by blockbuster producer-distributor K. E. Gnanavel Raja during a recent exclusive interview with Galatta. There is a tremendous buzz surrounding Kanguva, especially after the film's launch and title announcement promos gave fans a glimpse into what they can expect to witness in theatres considering various plot and story elements were shown to a good extent.
Suriya's Kanguva being directed by Siva of Viswasam and Annaatthe fame is expected to open in cinemas worldwide in early 2024 under the Studio Green and UV Creations banners. Announced to be coming out in 10 languages and in the 3D format, the film is also going to be the launchpad for Bollywood sensation Disha Patani in Tamil and will feature music by Devi Sri Prasad, who previously delivered chart-topping hits for Suriya in Maayavi, Aaru, Singam and Singam 2.
