Maha directed by newcomer U. R. Jameel is a landmark film for Hansika as it is her 50th venture in her career, with expectations surrounding the project shooting up post the announcement that she would be seen alongside Simbu once again after the 2015 smash hit film Vaalu. Fans are excited to witness both stars on the big screen once again after their chemistry in Vaalu won a double thumbs up. Maha is billed to be a thriller and had an intense teaser released sometime back on the occasion of Hansika's birthday that showed her alongside STR, with the flamboyant star also featuring in a few action sequences. Check out the Maha first single announcement below:
Apart from Hansika and STR, Maha will see Srikanth as the male lead, while the ensemble cast also features names like Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 fame Sanam Shetty, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Nancy Jennifer among others in pivotal roles. The film is also incidentally Ghibran's 25th film as a music director and includes cinematography by Laxman, editing by John Abraham, art direction by Manimozhian Ramadurai, lyrics penned by Karky, Viveka and Soundararajan, with choreography by Gayathri Raguram and Sheriff.
