Even his younger brother Kuralarsan tied the knot with his girlfriend Nabeelah R Ahmed in a low-key affair last year. Post the wedding all eyes were on Simbu and speculations about his wedding started making rounds on social media. But the VTV actor has denied that he has no such plans back then. Now again, a rumour about his wedding is spreading online. The speculations suggest that Simbu would soon enter wedlock with a London based girl who also happens to be a distant relative of T Rajendar’s family. It was also reported that the engagement and wedding will happen once the corona phase ends. But it looks like all these are nothing but cooked up stories. Our sources close to the actor have clarified the news saying it is false. Even STR’s close associate Hariharan Gajendran took to his Twitter to deny the rumour.

After a lot of doubts over whether his movie Maanaadu would take off or not, the movie finally went on floors a few months back before the lockdown and a slim and trim STR has begun shooting for the movie. Even recently, STR was working on a short film with director Gautham Vasudev Menon, from their houses itself, during this lockdown quarantine.
