G.V. Prakash Kumar is a popular music composer turned actor who has worked in many exciting films. The recent film of the music composer that was released is Vaathi and Rudhran. He won the National Award for the background score in the film Soorarai Pottru. The film has actor Suriya playing the lead and was directed by Sudha Kongara. The film is being remade in Hindi by the same director and the music composer has now shared an exciting update about a song from the film. The music director said that he has recorded a song with popular Hindi singer Mika Singh for Soorarai Pottru Hindi. The lyrics of the film will be written by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. He has further hinted “lots of dhols on the way”. The music composer shared the tweet with a photo of himself with director Sudha Kongara, the lyricist and the singer.
The makers of the film have announced that the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru tentatively titled Production No. 27 will be released in theatres on September 1. The film had Akshay Kumar playing the lead and is produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment. It went on floors in April last year and has actress Radhika Madan playing the female lead. As many details about the film are kept under wraps this recent announcement created excitement among fans.
