Sivakarthikeyan has now featured in a Corona awareness video and this is an initiative taken up by the Tamil Nadu Government. Sivakarthikeyan, in the video, talks about the do's and dont's during these Covid times and asks everyone to stay safe. Talking in the video, Sivakarthikeyan said, "The Covid 19 virus is spreading so fast and we have been losing a lot of lives. The Tamil Nadu Government is taking all the necessary actions to control the spread. This video is to share some of the important points from my side to you all. The first and foremost solution for protecting us from the severity of Covid 19 is vaccination.

All of you, please do get vaccinated. I have taken my first dose of vaccination. Step out of your house only if it is completely necessary. Maintain social distancing when you are outside. Keep your hands clean and wear the face masks, at all times. These are all the precautions that we know already. Let us follow these guidelines properly. All the frontline workers are risking their lives on a daily basis to safeguard us and following the Covid guidelines properly will be our mark of respect and gratitude to them. The video has garnered good attention on social media and let us hope that this video reaches a wider range of audience. On the acting front, Sivakarthikeyan will next be seen in Doctor which is fully completed and ready for release. Rumours suggested that the film could possibly have a direct OTT release, but the makers are yet to make a clarification regarding the same. Doctor is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame and has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

Sivakarthikeyan is also acting in a youthful romantic comedy film, titled Don, which is directed by debutant Cibi Chakaravarthi. The film's shoot is currently on hold due to the Covid situation. SJ Suryah plays the antagonist in Don. Sivakarthikeyan will also be seen in the highly ambitious sci-fi film, Ayalaan, helmed by R Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame.
