Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan has been a film fans have been keeping a close watch on owing to it being set in the science-fiction genre and also due to the fact that director R. Ravikumar impressed earlier with his Indru Netru Naalai. Being produced by 24AM Studios and KJR Studios distributing the film worldwide, Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman is scoring the music with the ambitious venture's satellite rights going on to be bagged by Sun TV even before production kicked off.
With the Ayalaan first look released yesterday as a brithday treat for Sivakarthikeyan's fans, the makers have now announced in a press release that 75% filming has been completed with 2 more schedules left for the entire production to come to a wrap. Ayalaan will see Sivakarthikeyan romancing South Indian sensation Rakul Preet Singh with the film featuring plenty of notable names in its supporting cast among whom include Isha Koppikar, Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Sharad Kelkar and several others. It has further been revealed that post-production is also simultaneously happening as the entire entire VFX team has already started working on the visual effects.
The inquisitiveness has already peaked up higher as AR Rahman will be crooning Sivakarthikeyan’s introduction number, which was revealed by the star himself earlier not long back. Adding visual magic with unique treatment from one film to another, Nirav Shah’s cinematography will be one of the promising assets of Ayalaan, which has editing by Ruben.
