Leading Tamil actor-producer Sivakarthikeyan has announced that he is taking a break from Twitter for sometime. Taking to the micro-blogging site, the actor extended his hearty wishes to fans and asked them to take care of themselves, while informing that he will be back soon. Sharing a couple of photos of himself from inside an airplane while en route to his next destination, Sivakarthikeyan also revealed that the updates of his upcoming films will be shared by his team in the days ahead. The actor wrote on Twitter, "My dear brothers and sisters, I am taking a break from twitter for a while. Take care, and i will be back soon ðð P.S: All updates on the films will be shared here by my team." Check out SK's statement below:
Sivakarthikeyan is currently one of the most sought after names in Tamil cinema and has been mighty busy with the shooting of his forthcoming venture, Maaveeran, being directed by Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame. Touted to be an action drama, the film being produced by Arun Viswa's Shanthi Talkies banner will see the actor sharing screen space with Aditi Shankar, who became a youth sensation after starring opposite Karthi in Viruman last year. Maaveeran also releasing in Telugu under the title Mahaveerudu is scheduled to open in cinemas ahead of the Independence Day celebrations on August 11 and the release plan by the makers no doubt gives them a big advantage to draw bigger audiences to theatres.
Likewise, Sivakarthikeyan also has in his lineup the highly-anticipated Ayalaan directed by R. Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame, which has been announced to be launched into theatres this Diwali in November. The grand sci-fi film produced by KJR Studios and distributed by 24AM Studios features music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, with the team recently revealing the release date in a special announcement video giving audiences a short glimpse of the fun-filled action that awaits them in theatres. As for his next films, Sivakarthikeyan is set to begin shooting for the tentatively titled SK 21 alongside Sai Pallavi under Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periasamy's direction, which will be produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International banner in collaboration with Sony Pictures Films India. SK is also set to do a film with blockbuster filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, with reports of a project with A. R. Murugadoss as well doing the rounds.
