Leading South Indian actress Shriya Saran's next film titled Music School is a Hindi-Telugu bilingual and will see her share screen opposite popular Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi, who is best known among fans for his roles in Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots, Golmaal, Hate Story 3 and Mission Mangal to name a notable few. Being directed by documentary filmmaker Papa Rao Biyyala, Music School featuring music by 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja has kicked off its third schedule, with the story revolving around two two teachers, Mary D’Cruz (Shriya) and Manoj (Sharman), who are on a quest to redefine music and theatre in the minds of the pupils over the unimaginative education system.
Being produced by Yamini Films and written by Papa Rao Biyyala, Music School's biggest highlight is billed to be legendary composer 'Maestro' Ilaiyaraaja and includes cinematography by Kiran Deohans, with choreography by Broadway choreographer Adam Murray. The upcoming film's ensemble cast also includes National Award-winning actor Prakash Raj, singer Shaan, Suhasini Mulay, Benjamin Gilani, Mona Ambegaonkar, Vinay Varma, Srikanth Iyengar, Gracy Goswamy, Mangala Bhatt, Ozu Barua, Vaquar Shaikh, Phani Eggoti and Bugs Bhargava.
Apart from Music School, Shriya Saran will next be seen in a crucial role in SS Rajamouli's highly-anticipated period action drama film RRR, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, and also features Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn and Tamil actor Samuthirakani. The Sivaji heroine is also awaiting the release of her long-delayed projects starting with the Karthick Naren-directed Naragasooran, which has her sharing screen with Arvind Swami, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sundeep Kishan and Aathmika. Shriya is also attached to the Prakash Raj directorial, Tadka, in Hindi.
