The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been conducting a probe related to the sensational Bollywood-drug nexus, with the investigation bringing to light several notable names in the film industry. As actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have been summoned for questioning in the drug case linked to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the controversy surrounding this latest scandal that has predominantly hit Bollywood and Indian cinema has let to a furore, with a number of celebrities including fans expressing their outrage over the past few days.
As the NCB continues its investigation in the drug scandal, Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra, known for her roles in films including appearing as a contestant on Bigg Boss 3, in a recent interview alleged that she has seen cricketers and star wives snorting cocaine at an IPL party in Kolkata. The actress mentioned that she was invited for a KKR match after-party, but was in for the shock of her life when she witnessed what was happening in the restroom. She states that she had participated in the party, danced along with everybody and then headed to the washroom to see star wives snorting cocaine. She adds that they smiled back and realized she was at the wrong place and stepped outside, where the party was in full swing. Sherlyn further claimed that such parties where drugs are floated often take place and asserted that the scenario would have been the same had she gone to the men's washroom.
Sherlyn Chopra has stated that she is willing to come forward and reveal more details with the NCB, in case the need arises and they call her. She added that the national anti-drug agency has barely scratched the surface in regard to the ongoing scandal and stated that more names will pop up as the days go by.
