'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan is on cloud nine after his latest film, Jawan, smashed its way into the 1000-crore club in global box office collections on Monday, September 25. The leading Hindi actor is being showered with wishes from all quarters, including 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans, who shared the collection report announcement of the box office blockbuster on social media and celebrated the film's massive success. Later at night, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude to the fans for their wishes, while going on to share his own excitement for Vijay's upcoming film Leo and also revealing that he admires the Tamil superstar a lot.
Shah Rukh Khan wrote on X, "Thank u for your wishes…. Looking forward to Thalapathy’s next!!! I love Vijay sir!!," acknowledging and appreciating the fans of the Tamil actor. It is well-known that both SRK and Vijay share an excellent rapport among their fans as the two superstars have made a name for themselves during the course of their glorious and illustrious careers. Earlier this year, Vijay shared Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan Tamil trailer on Twitter (now X), while also posing for the camera with the Jawan star and its director Atlee on the filmmaker's birthday in 2022.
Gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on October 19, Leo is Vijay's second collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj after their blockbuster, Master (2021), and expectations have been massive right from the get-go. Touted to be a mass gangster action thriller, there is a huge buzz surrounding the film and whether it will be connected to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which was first established after the events and characters of Karthi's Kaithi (2019) were referenced in Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022). Featuring music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, Leo has Vijay paired with Trisha Krishnan once again after 15 years, while the ensemble cast includes Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, while 'Action King' Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy master, Mathew Thomas, among others will be seen in key roles.
