Naane Varuven is a film that has excited the fans and film buffs ever since its first announcement as it brings together the iconic successful combination of Dhanush and Selvaraghavan after Kaadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna. Naane Varuven is produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations and has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with whom Selvaraghavan has a solid track record. Naane Varuven features Meyaadha Maan and Bigil fame Indhuja as the female lead.
Yamini Yagnamurthy is the cinematographer of the movie. Naane Varuven is said to be a strong content-driven film that will leave a solid impact on the viewers. Earlier today (November 28), Selvaraghavan shared an exciting update on the film and the update has garnered attention on social media. Selvaraghavan mentioned in his post that he is mostly going with handheld shots for Naane Varuven and he sounded excited about the approach. The maverick filmmaker recollected that he had used handheld shots in Pudhupettai and after 18 long years, he is using it again.
Sharing a picture of him holding the camera on his shoulders, Selvaraghavan wrote, "After 18 years (pudhupettai) where I've done few handheld shots, going on complete handheld film in #naanevaruven trying my frames with @yamini.yagnamurthy @easyrig". Details regarding the release plans of Naane Varuven are yet to be known and we will keep you posted about it. Meanwhile, Selvaraghavan will also be making his debut as an actor with Saani Kaayidham which is currently in the final stages of post production.
Selvaraghavan will be seen sharing screen space with Keerthy Suresh in this intense action drama directed by Arun Matheswaran. Selvaraghavan will also be acting as one of the antagonists in Thalapathy Vijay's highly anticipated next, Beast, directed by Nelson.
