It is not surprising for the ace director to have fallen in love with Ponniyin Selvan's album as it surely is a chartbuster. It songs and sountracks are still being religiously listened to. A. R. Rahman's soothing voice in the song 'Ponni Nadhi' is something that fans cannot get over. His powerful song 'Chola Chola', the dark 'Devaralan Aattam', and a fusion of the two genres that gives 'Ratchasa Maamaney' are just absolutely delightful to listen to.
