Actor Jiiva will want to begin his 2020 on a strong note with the action film, Seeru, directed by Rekka fame Rathna Siva, which has been produced under Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh's Vels Film International banner. Announced to hit screens on February 7, the action film's story revolves around a social issue with the trailer released recently shedding light on what we can expect when it arrives in theatres.

Promotions for Seeru are underway at an active pace with the makers now releasing the 'Vaasana Poochenda' song video, featuring vocals by Rajaganapathy with lyrics penned by Parvathy and composed by D. Imman. The songs in Seeru namely 'Kannaala Poduraaley', 'Vaa Vasuki' and the chartbuster 'Sevvanthiye' track sung by the visually-challenged singer Thirumoorthy, have earned a special place among fans, who now await the theatrical release of the film.

Apart from Jiiva, Seeru includes Riya Suman playing the female lead, Telugu actor Navdeep as the antagonist followed by Puppy hero Varun, Sathish, Goli Soda fame Chandhini, Merku Thodarchi Malai’s Gayathri, RNR Manohar, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Swaminathan, Kadhal Saravanan, Frank among others in supporting roles.
