Sarkaru Vaari Paata which was released yesterday on 12 May 2022 opened to mixed reviews by both the audience and critics alike. The film is off to a flying start after registering a solid opening at the global box office. The commercial entertainer is helmed by Parasuram Petla who had earlier directed the Vijay Deverakonda - Rashmika Mandanna starrer Geetha Govindam. The film deals with loan scams and faulty bank systems.

The film managed to gross worldwide and raked in a whopping Rs. 75 crores on its opening day alone. Being a regional movie, it is an all-time record for Sarkaru Vaari Paata as it is the first regional movie to do so. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a fitting commercial mass entertainer that is getting varied reactions from the fans and from large sections of people spread out throughout social media platforms. The film is written and directed by Parasuram. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, the film stars Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh while Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Nadhiya and Subbaraju play supporting roles. On the technical side of things, the film's score and the soundtrack is composed by S. Thaman with cinematography and editing performed by R. Madhi and Marthand K. Venkatesh respectively.
