Vinodhaya Sitham is Samuthirakani's next as a director after his Naadodigal 2 last year. Having delivered hits like Naadodigal, Poraali and Appa, the upcoming film has been produced by Abirami Ramanathan's Abirami Media Works banner and will feature Samuthirakani paired opposite Sanchita Shetty of Soodhu Kavvum fame. The film also includes a talented technical team on board among whom include C. Sathya for the music, followed by cinematographer Ekambaram, editor Ramesh, art director Jacki and Stunt Silva for the action.
There will be plenty of expectations for Vinodhaya Sitham as Samuthirakani has surprised fans in the past with his directorials, especially with his work on Naadodigal and Appa. Considering Vinodhaya Sitham is dealing with a unique subject of the human mind, it will be interesting to see what the National Award-winning actor-turned-filmmaker will have churned out next. Apart from his Vinodhaya Sitham, Samuthirakani has a long list of films lined up in which he will be making appearances among which include Sivakarthikeyan's Don, Prashanth's Andhagan, Sasikumar's MGR Magan, followed by Telugu ventures like the SS Rajamouli magnum opus RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata and the Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer Bheemla Nayak, which is an official remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum in Malayalam.
